no need to be rude i was just trying to clear that up. Of course i am aware that people know what oriental and asian means, it just bothers me how people get worked up about being “politically correct”. It may be offensive to some, but most Asians ik know don’t find either right, wrong, or offensive. thank you for clearing this up, as if i didn’t already know all this. lets all forget about this and just listen to the beauty of Jennifer’s voice.
Thank you for the definition, but I do believe we are all quite aware of what “Oriental” means. Some find it offensive, as it is no longer “PC,” and some don’t. Nonetheless, thank you for jumping in on a X month old conversation that, as you said, “doesn’t matter.”
Oriental means relating to countries from east Asia. so technically mscrazyandcool is correct but honestly it doesn’t matter. just because people tend to say asian now doesn’t mean either one is right or wrong. (asia actually includes india, the middle east, and russia) I happen to live around many japanese, chinese, and koreans and they say both oriental and asian.
